Membership
Qualifications for Membership:
Clinical Membership in the Guild is open to professionals engaged in the conduct of psychotherapy on Bainbridge Island. Members who join after January 15, 2007 must be licensed mental health professionals in the State of Washington who have earned a minimum of a Master’s degree in one of the established mental health disciplines from an accredited college, university, or professional training program (including, but not limited to psychiatry, clinical or counseling psychology, clinical social work, marriage and family therapy, and mental health counseling). 
Associate Membership in the Guild is open to professionally trained mental health professionals working toward licensure or under the clinical supervision of a licensed mental health professional, engaged in the conduct of psychotherapy on Bainbridge Island and who have earned a minimum of a Master’s degree in one of the established mental health disciplines from an accredited college, university, or professional training program (including, but not limited to psychiatry, clinical or counseling psychology, clinical social work, marriage and family therapy, and mental health counseling).
Membership Benefits – BIPG is a local professional organization that:
- Provides opportunities for networking with other therapists
- Publishes a directory that is distributed to a wide array of school, health, and community organizations within our community
- Maintains a website for clients, and community referral sources - Bainbridgepsychotherapy.org
- Actively participates in our community through sponsorship and involvement in a variety of mental health related events and organizations (e.g., Fall Forum, BI Health Fair, Kitsap County Schools Crisis Response Team, Helpline House, etc.)
